MANILA - Darren Espanto stage in May a solo concert at the Mall of Asia Arena, making him the youngest entertainer to perform at the Pasay City venue.
The Canada-born singer announced the show in an Instagram post early this week.
Dubbed "D Total Performance Birthday Party," the concert will be held on May 29, five days after Espanto's actual 14th birthday.
Espanto, who held back-to-back concerts at the Music Museum in San Juan City last year, is best known for his runner-up finish in ABS-CBN's "The Voice Kids."
Espanto is no stranger to singing competitions.
In Calgary, where he was born and raised, Espanto won a 2011 contest for young Filipinos dubbed "Pinoy Singing Sensation." He went on to compete in the grand finals of "The Next Star," a reality talent search which concluded in December 2012.
He released his self-titled debut album in December 2014.
