MANILA – Former best friends Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador are taking things one step at a time as far as their relationship is concerned.
In her last “The Buzz” interview, Salvador admitted that while she and Chiu are back on good terms, they no longer call or text each other as frequently.
Speaking to entertainment site Push, Chiu said they are not rushing to restore the kind of closeness they had before their rift over actor Gerald Anderson.
“Okay lang, dahan-dahan," she said. "Dapat peace lang lahat para happy 'yung vibe mo, happy 'yung environment mo, lahat.”
But Chiu emphasized that she and Salvador have already patched things up and there is no more awkwardness between them.
“Sobrang okay and parang ang sarap ng pakiramdam na gigising ka ng umaga, okay sa iyo lahat ng tao,” she said.
Just recently, the cast and crew of "Ina, Kapatid, Anak," the highest rating primetime series on local TV during its run, had a fun-filled reunion.
Among those who attended were Salvador, Chiu, Enchong Dee and Xian Lim, director Jojo Saguin, and cast members Ronaldo Valdez, Pilar Pilapil, Janice de Belen, Cherry Pie Picache, Jayson Gainza and Alex Medina, among others.
