'World of Dance PH': Local music takes center stage in standout duel 1
FCPC Baliktanaw won over the judges with their intensity, earning the highest score of the night at 96. World of Dance Philippines

Perhaps an easy way to stand out from the pool of talented dancers that are still in "World of Dance Philippines" is to pick an opponent whose style is completely different from yours.

Many of the contestants certainly had that idea, but not FCPC Baliktanaw, who challenged themselves even further by choosing to go against Move to the Groove, a group which also proudly dances to local music as a way to show their nationalism.

It turned out to be a brilliant move by FCPC Baliktanaw, as Move to the Groove were overshadowed onstage. The 96 versus 92.7 points they had showed who the judges clearly favored in this round, even if both put on exciting routines set to Pinoy music.

Their win meant that FCPC Baliktanaw moves on to The Cut, along with Ground Zero (Team division) and Josef Lachica (Upper division) --both of whom won their duels this Saturday.
