KZ Tandingan finished outside of the Top 4 in this week's "Singer 2018," which saw none of the contestants eliminated.
The Filipina singer's fist-pumping performance of Sheryl Crow's "Real Gone" was not enough to land her in the upper half of the rankings, topped by China's Wang Feng.
The others in the Top 4 were Chinese singers Tengger (2nd), Hua Chenyu (3rd), and Henry Huo (4th).
British pop star Jessie J did not perform due to an illness. Her absence meant that eliminations were postponed until the next episode.
Despite the result, congratulations poured in for Tandingan, who earlier acknowledged that she hadn't heard of "Real Gone" before, and that she had to learn it in just 3 days.
