MANILA -- She just got engaged to her boyfriend of nearly two years, journalist Mark Zambrano, Wednesday night.
So it shouldn't surprise anyone that singer Aicelle Santos is feeling like she's still on cloud nine, as she wrote a sweet message for her now-fiance on Instagram this Thursday.
Sharing a photo from the romantic proposal, Santos said: "In God's perfect time, our dreams were fulfilled last night."
"Finally, our first step to forever! I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you, my Fiance! Mahal na mahal na mahal po kita."
This is the second bit of happy news to bless Santos this month after she got cast as part of the ongoing UK tour of "Miss Saigon."
She is set to leave later this month and will be gone for 10 months.
In an interview with Pep, Zambrano said they plan to get married after Santos gets back from her stint with the musical.
He also revealed that he'll be visiting her twice this year and that they'll arrange most of their wedding plans by chatting online.
"We can manage. Iyong relationship namin has matured in a way that I think we can handle whatever happens. Ten months? That's going to pass by really quickly when you're in love," he said.
