'Dream Dad' continues winning streak

MANILA - "Forevermore" on Wednesday hit its highest-ever rating since its October 2014 debut, while "The Voice of the Philippines" concluded on a high note last Sunday, according to Kantar Media.

The hit primetime series starring Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil garnered a nationwide rating of 31.7% on March 4. The number was a slight improvement over its previous highest viewership of 31.6% last February 25.

The soaring ratings of "Forevermore" coincided with the reunion of Xander (Enrique Gil) and Agnes (Liza Soberano), who has refused to forgive him after he left her without saying goodbye two years ago.

In February, "Forevermore" had an average nationwide rating of 28.6%, ranking second to "Dream Dad" with 29.4%. This week, the Zanjoe Marudo-starrer continued its reigning streak on primetime with a national TV rating of 33.8% on Monday, 33.5% on Tuesday, and 32.2% on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the final episode of "The Voice of the Philippines" similarly ruled nationwide ratings last Sunday. It ranked first overall with 30.8% viewership, followed by "Rated K" (25.9%) and "Wansapanataym" (20.8%).
