MANILA -- Ben&Ben joined artists from across Asia to record a cover of a heartfelt Taiwanese song to help those who have been diagnosed with the coronavirus (COVID-19).
The local pop folk act was picked, along with other singers under Sony Music, to record an "all for one" version of "Forever Beautiful," a song from Taiwanese artist Eric Chou, about reminding people that they "are not alone" in their struggles.
"In this time of fear and uncertainty, it is important to remind people that they are not alone and that even the most dreadful things give way to new beginnings," said Ben&Ben vocalist Paolo Benjamin.
The new version of "Forever Beautiful" includes singers from Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam, Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan.
It is available on all streaming and digital platforms, including Spotify and YouTube.
Proceeds from this song will be donated to relief efforts by the Han Hong Love Charity Foundation, a nonprofit organization who is currently helping those affected by the coronavirus outbreak.
As of Tuesday, worldwide infections topped 90,000 in more than 60 countries.
