Celebs mourn death of 'Tita Angge'

MANILA - Local celebrities took to social media to mourn the death of talent manager Cornelia "Tita Angge" Lee who died Thursday, a year after a massive heart attack left her in a coma. 

She was 70.

A wake for Lee is being held at the Loyola Memorial in Marikina.

Lee began her career as a radio, television, and film talent before becoming a talent manager and casting director. 

She was first given her break in showbiz by director Pablo Santiago, who cast her for a role in the film "Continental Playboy." 

Lee was then featured in a host of other films in the late 1960s and early 1970s. She was the talent manager of celebrities such as Sylvia Sanchez, Mickey Ferriols, Timmy Cruz and Smokey Manaloto. 

Local stars such as Sharon Cuneta, Dingdong Avanzado and Lea Salonga remembered Lee as they posted their messages and photos with the talent manager on their respective social media accounts.
