Anne Curtis wowed her eight million followers on Instagram Wednesday with a spot-on cosplay of a "Game of Thrones" character, Daenerys Targaryen.
Not a few fans have noted the character's resemblance to the Filipina superstar. Aside from her mestiza features, the half-Australian Curtis similarly has thick eyebrows and full lips, which lend to her convincing take on the "Mother of Dragons" portrayed by English actress Emilia Clarke.
In her photo, which has since drawn half a million likes, Curtis sports a platinum blond wig and off-shoulder gown, while posing beside a dragon sculpture.
Details of her makeup that appear to be glittery scales were posted by makeup artist Mark Kingson Qua. He also shared another angle of Curtis posing as Daenerys.
While the "It's Showtime" host did not mention explicity what the cosplay and shoot was for, she did tag in her post "Meet Me In St. Gallen" director Irene Villamor, and used the hashtag "SidAndAya."
"Sid and Aya" is the title of a previously announced film project starring Curtis and Dingdong Dantes. Its script, according to an Instagram post by Dantes, was written by Villamor.
