Julia Barretto has released a statement after photos of her being rushed to a hospital by "A Love To Last" co-star Ronnie Alonte made rounds online.
"I slipped in the shower and hit my head," explained the teen actress in a statement aired on "Tonight with Boy Abunda" on Wednesday night. "I then only experienced a headache when I was at the taping already."
"As soon as I found time, I went to the hospital to have myself checked. Results came in, I am negative for fracture and hemorrhage. Went back to taping and now I'm feeling better. Thank you for your concern," added Barretto, who has been the subject of rumors she's dating Alonte but did not address such talk in her statement.
Meanwhile, Barretto happily shared a closeup photo of her on Instagram to mark her birth month. She will be turning 20 on March 10.
In a previous interview, she said she will be taking a short vacation from work to celebrate.
