MANILA - Kamp Kawayan's Rence Rapanot and Team Lea's resident "biritera" Leah Patricio failed to make it to the Top 2 of "The Voice of the Philippines" grand finale on Sunday at the Resorts World Manila.
Instead, Team Sarah's Jason Dy and Team Apl's Alisah Bonaobra headed for a final showdown after topping the text votes.
Rapanot only got 18.02% of the viewer's votes, while Patricio received 19.7% of votes.
For the first performance on Sunday, Rapanot sang "Tayo'y Mga Pinoy," originally recorded by Heber Bartolome. He also rocked "Hinahanap-hanap Kita" in a duet with his coach Bamboo Mañalac.
On Saturday, Rapanot jammed with OPM legends Joey Ayala and Bayang barrios, performing the song "Karaniwang Tao."
Meanwhile, Patricio performed an emotional rendition of Whitney Houston's "Run To You," before rocking it out with coach Lea Salonga in a duet of Alanis Morisette's "You Oughta Know."
The previous day, she also had an intense and intimate performance of the song "Muli" with singer Jed Madela.
