MANILA -- Teen singer Alisah Bonaobra came in at second place in the grand finals of "The Voice of the Philippines" in Resorts World Manila on Sunday.

Bonaobra, a member of Team Apl, was pitted against Team Sarah's Jason Dy for the top prize, after the two received the highest cumulative text votes since Saturday's performance night.

For her Top 2 performance, Bonaobra performed the classic "All By Myself," showing off her wide vocal range.

Despite her powerhouse performance, she got 47.06% of viewers' votes and had to settle for a runner-up finish to grand winner Dy.

Her Top 2 performance was praised by her coach,, noting how Bonaobra was able to put in her emotions into her performance.

"Noong una kang napunta sa Team Apl, I always remind you to put some emotion, pero ngayong gabi, binuhos mo lahat ng emotions," added.

Bonaobra also performed a medley of "Hero" and "You Can Do Anything" with her coach.

After the show, the Black Eyed Peas member took to Facebook to reassure his contestant. "Alisah Bonaobra, I'm so blessed to have coached you this season. Doesn't matter the results because YOU are THE VOICE of the Philippines in my heart," he wrote.
