Their situation may have changed, but it's not to a point that makes it unsustainable.
This was what actress-host Karla Estrada said when asked about whether she and her boyfriend, who is currently based in the US, have decided to call it quits due to the distance between them.
Explaining that they are indeed still together in a relationship --they are on their 7th year, it was pointed out-- Estrada added that they do talk constantly and that they had an agreement before he left.
"May pag-uusap naman na, 'You know, if hindi na natin --kung may ma-meet ka diyan, may ma-meet ako, pag-usapan natin. Kung saan tayo masaya'." she told "Tonight with Boy Abunda."
She also said that she understood why her boyfriend had to leave for the US.
"He left and I said yes because kailangan niya din alagaan ang dalawa niyang anak doon sa America, na lumalaki din at kailangan ng presensya ng isang ama," Estrada reasoned.
There was no mention of the name of Estrada's boyfriend, who is apparently not part of the local showbiz industry. Past interviews of hers, though, have identified the man by the name of Mark.
She was on the late night talk show to promote her upcoming comedy movie with Star Cinema, "Familia Blandina."
