MANILA -- Wanderland Magic, this year’s installment of the annual music and arts festival, promises two days brimming with talent as it unveils its full line-up and schedule.
Happening on March 9 and 10 at the Filinvest City Event Grounds in Alabang, Wanderland has made available one-day or two-day passes, with options for group discounts.
In the market to just attend one day of the festival? Here’s the rundown of performances for the two days of Wanderland Magic.
Day 1 starts off with 2019’s San Miguel Wanderband champion from Cebu, Intertwined. Rounding up the rest of the afternoon will be Autotelic and Reese Lansangan.
Before sundown, Charlie Lim from Singapore will make his Wanderland debut, while local artist Unique will welcome Wanderland 2019’s first night.
Joan, one of 2019’s indie breakout stars from the US, will then take the Wanderland stage, with UK artist Gabrielle Aplin playing a set after. Things will take a danceable turn as British DJ SG Lewis performs, while Wanderland alu, Honne follows, making an appropriate appearance in Day 1 of the festival.
JMSN’s R&B tunes will ease us into the end of the night, as a Two Door Cinema Club performance caps off the first day of Wanderland Magic.
Starting off Day 2 of the festival will be Wanderband runner-up, Nathan & Mercury, then it’s another OPM-filled afternoon with band Dayaw and Clara Benin. South Korean band Adoy will take us to a nostalgic trip, before Mac Ayres performs during sunset.
Sandwich will rock the early evening with their many hits, as Clairo follows with her lo-fi songs like "Pretty Girl." Funk and synth will mix in the performance of the band, PREP, with the night turning sultry, thanks to R&B siren Alina Baraz.
Multi-instrumentalist Masego will then continue to take Wanderers to an R&B trip, before Wanderland Magic wraps up with a performance by celebrated indie UK band, the Kooks.
