MANILA, Philippines -- A reunion of the boy band 98 Degrees is in the works, according to a member of the four-man vocal group.

Jeff Timmons, who is currently in Manila for a concert, said there have been discussions for a 98 Degrees reunion.

"We've been talking of 98 Degrees getting back together for a reunion show. Nothing's out of the question but nothing's solidified. We'll see," Timmons said.

Timmons formed the group in Los Angeles, California in 1995 with brothers Nick and Drew Lachey and Justin Jeffre. Two years later, the group released its debut album, with the hit single, "Invisible Man."

Since announcing an "extended hiatus" in 2002, the members have pursued individual projects. Drew Lachey won in the second season of "Dancing with the Stars," while brother Nick released two solo albums and is now the host of the a capella talent search "The Sing-Off." Jeffre ran for mayor of Cincinatti, Ohio, while Timmons also released a solo album.

Timmons visited ABS-CBN's FM station Tambayan 101.9 on Thursday to promote his concert "The Greatest Hits Tour" with boy bands Blue and A1 at the Araneta Coliseum on Saturday.

He said it has been 10 years since 98 Degrees performed in Manila.

"It's been too long," he said. "This is probably the first place 98 Degrees broke out. Not a lot of people know that."

Timmons said he is happy to perform again for the group's Filipino fans.

"We're popular all over the world but we feel like superstars when we're here. The people are gracious, polite and a lot of people here are so talented, everybody can sing," he said. -- With reports from Gretchen Fullido, ABS-CBN News
