MANILA - Maja Salvador goes daring in the first teaser of "Bridges of Love," a new prime time series from the creators of "The Legal Wife," "Got to Believe" and the ongoing "Forevermore."
The short preview debuted Wednesday during ABS-CBN's Primetime Bida block, a day after the Star Creatives production was formally unveiled to advertisers during the network's "Shine Pilipinas" trade show.
In the teaser, Salvador is seen dancing in a revealing two-piece costume, intercut with scenes of co-stars Paulo Avelino and Jericho Rosales, who portray brothers who become bitter rivals.
"Bridges of Love," whose premiere date has yet to be announced, will mark the second time Salvador and Rosales will act together after "The Legal Wife." Neither has worked with Avelino, who earlier expressed excitement over his first-time co-actors.
Prior to its unveiling, the drama series made headlines because of changes in its casting. The role of Avelino was originally given to John Lloyd, who at the time could not commit as he had yet to renew his contract with ABS-CBN.
Xian Lim was later tapped to replace Cruz, but the "Past Tense" leading man was eventually re-assigned by management to co-star anew with Kim Chiu for a third series together.
