MANILA - Isabelle Daza and her boyfriend Adrien Semblat opened up about their engagement, which happened during their visit to Cappadocia, Turkey in August last year.

The actress revealed on "Kris TV" on Tuesday that Semblat proposed to her at breakfast after they took a hot-air balloon ride.

"We are just talking about the future of our lives lang. Tapos biglang nag-stutter na siya. Sabi niya, 'Wu.. wu... would you like to marry me?' Sabi ko, 'Yeah, of course, in the future.' And then he said, 'No, no, now,'" Daza recalled.

"He pulled out the ring, he knelt down on one knee and that's when I knew it was real and I was like, 'Oh my gosh.' Tapos 'yung heart ko it was beating so fast," she said.

But it was the speech of Semblat that, Daza said, she will always remember. "It was so cute and truthful. Parang he said, 'From the moment I saw you, I knew I can love you.' Then he said like 'You fit me perfectly. The way you love me fits me perfectly,'" she said.

Semblat narrated that he went first to France to tell his parents that he was planning to propose to Daza.

"I showed them the ring and we went to this chapel to bless the ring with my mom," said Semblat, who also asked the permission of Daza's parents.

Wedding details

Meanwhile, Daza also revealed on "Kris TV" that the wedding will happen in Tuscany, Italy, with her uncle, who is a priest, officiating.

"He's preparing us here and then he's going with us," said Daza, who already started to send "save-the-date" cards to their guests.

Asked if they will have a prenuptial agreement, she said: "Actually we haven't decided. It's not a big thing for us."

Daza also shared that she has already brought her wedding dress from a high-end shop in Paris. She recalled trying on four dresses before finding out the one for her.

"When you fit a wedding dress, it's like finding the perfect one. Your heart starts pounding and parang 'di ko pa na-feel. On the fifth one ayun na, I started like getting cold sweat and I was like, this is it. I bought it," Daza said.

The actress described the off-white gown as simple yet classic.

"It's not a big dress," she said. "Kate Middleton is my peg."
