MANILA—Netflix showed fans of "Stranger Things" some love this Valentine's Day by releasing the first teaser for the upcoming fourth season of their breakout series.
The short clip features a group of prisoners being forced to build a railroad in Russia. Among them is, much to the surprise of those who follow the show, police chief Hopper.
Now David Harbour's fan favorite character was presumed to be dead at the end of Season 3, but in a message written to fans by the series' creators, the Duffer Brothers, as published by the Hollywood Reporter this Friday, he's well and truly alive.
It's not all good news, though, as Hopper is "imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human . . . and other," they continued.
"Meanwhile, back in the States, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long buried, something that connects everything."
A release date for "Stranger Things 4" did not come with the teaser.
