He already asked her out to dinner.
And Carlo Aquino is helping his chances to score a yes after sending Angelica Panganiban a bouquet of white roses this Valentine's Day Wednesday.
"Hinusayan. One point ka sa akin," wrote Panganiban as she shared on Instagram a photo of Aquino's sweet gift.
The actress' post on Instagram Stories came a few hours after she and Aquino had a fun exchange on Twitter.
It began when the "Meet Me in St. Gallen" star, who had just broken up with his girlfriend, said that he doesn't feel like putting the word "happy" on his Valentine's Day greeting for his fans.
This prompted a reply from Panganiban, who teased him: "Aysus. Emo ka."
The two became an item when they were in their teens. They dated for more than six years.
In recent talk-show appearances, both shared that they remained friends following their breakup.
They are now being linked after Panganiban said that she's willing to go on dates with Aquino again.
Aquino further fueled the buzz by admitting that he's leaving doors open for the possibility of them getting back together.
He, however, added that another romantic relationship might be too soon for him as he had just broken up with his girlfriend.
