MANILA — “Burado,” ABS-CBN’s upcoming primetime series starring Julia Montes and Nadine Lustre, will look action-packed, going by the first official images of its cast.
In photos released by producer Dreamscape Entertainment on Wednesday, Lustre is seen riding a motorcycle, while Montes appears to be getting on board an ambulance.
Paulo Avelino is in mid-run, Zanjoe Marudo is leaping over a barricade, and Thai actor Denkhun Ngamnet is inside a boxing ring.
Details of the story have yet to be released, but a group shot hints that the five characters will be teaming up against a common threat.
As earlier announced, the cast includes Carmi Martin, Angel Aquino, Joko Diaz, Ina Raymundo, Lotlot de Leon, Matet de Leon, Raymond Bagatsing, Mccoy de Leon, Javi Benitez, and Kokoy de Santos.
Attached to direct are Emmanuel Palo (“The General’s Daughter”) and Darnel Villaflor (“Kadenang Ginto”).
“Burado” will span several international locations, including the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, and India, according to Dreamcape head Deo Endrinal. The series is slated for a primetime release, the ABS-CBN executive added.
