MANILA - Former "Hawak Kamay" actress Nadine Samonte is pregnant with her first child, she announced on her Instagram account.
On Friday, the 27-year-old Samonte posted a photo of her latest ultrasound to reveal that she is six weeks pregnant. The caption read: "I love you Lord! Thank you for this miracle! We are so happy and Blessed!"
"Thank you to our families, friends and thank you to all the people who prayed for us. Iba ang feeling pala talaga. I can't explain. It's just pure happiness and love," added Samonte, who is married to businessman Richard Chua.
"First time we knew, we called our parents. They are all so excited and now eto na, six weeks and everything is so perfect. And ang ganda ng heartbeat."
"The moment na nag-start ultrasound at sabi ng doctor na okay ang lahat my husband was crying. We both cried. Iba pala talaga. Thank you Lord thank you so much! Yehey magkaka-baby na po kami!" she concluded.
Samonte, who recently signed a contract with Viva Entertainment, last appeared on ABS-CBN as part of the hit primetime series "Ang Probinyano."
