MANILA -- Kapamilya singer KZ Tandingan was obviously star-struck after she received a hug from international pop star Jessie J as seen in a video uploaded on Instagram on Wednesday night.
"Oh my God," Tandingan said while hugging the UK singer behind the hits "Domino, "Price Tag," and "Flashlight."
Tandingan is currently in China as she faces the likes of Jessie J in the competition "Singer 2018."
The 25-year-old "The X Factor Philippines" winner was the latest challenger introduced after a recent elimination of the reality show.
Tandingan could stay until the competition's finale in April, if she doesn't get eliminated.
Aside from Jessie J, the "ASAP" mainstay is up against other professional singers from different countries including Tien Chong from Hong Kong, Angela Chang from Taiwan, and Li Xiaodong, Wang Feng, James Li, and Juno Su, all from China.
In an Instragram post, Tandingan promised to do her best in the contest.
"I’m blessed to be chosen as one of the participants in China’s biggest singing competition, 'Singer.' I’ll be coming in as a the first international challenger on the 5th episode. Please keep our team in your prayers as we step into this unfamiliar and challenging but exciting journey. Thank you everyone! I will do my best!" Tandingan wrote.
