MANILA -- He vows to push himself to his limits as he attempts to win it all and be crowned winner of the second season of "America's Got Talent: The Champions" (AGT).
Marcelito Pomoy knows he has to, considering the amazing quality of the competition. Faced with an incredibly talented field in the finals this Monday (US time), that features a mind-boggling dog act and plenty of fearless acrobats, he's well aware that less than his very best performance could mean disappointment.
To get a sense of how difficult it would be to take home the title, here's a look at Pomoy's fellow finalists:
These acrobats from India have received 2 golden buzzers --one during the first time they joined "AGT." and then on this season when Howie Mendel sent them straight to the finals.
This shadow play dance group were runners-up during the 2011 season of "AGT." They're the golden buzzer act of Alesha Dixon.
3. Boogie Storm
This dance troupe, Simon Cowell's golden buzzer act, came in third on the 10th edition of "Britain's Got Talent." They have also participated in the UK equivalent of "Champions."
4. Angelina Jordan
This singer who won Norway's version of "Got Talent" got Heidi Klum's golden buzzer.
5. Alexa Lauenburger
This amazing dog trainer won Germany's version of "Got Talent." She was also a finalist in "Britain's Got Talent: The Champions."
Oozing charisma, Hans, a singer, a dancer, and an accordionist, finished in the quarter-finals of his first attempt at "AGT."
7. Sandou Trio Russian Bar
These acrobats, whose blindfold trick had the judges on their feet, were semi-finalists on the 6th season of "AGT."
8. Duo Transcend
This daring trapeze duo was a finalist on the 13th season of "AGT."
9. TYLER BUTLER-FIGUEROA
Tyler is a cancer survivor. His violin skills earned him in the spot of last year's edition of "AGT."
