MANILA -- Aiko Melendez can't help but feel sentimental now that the revenge drama "Wildflower" is nearing its end.
On Wednesday, she took to social media to share her heartfelt message to her "Wildflower" co-star Maja Salvador, praising her for being a "wonderful woman" and a "giving co-actor."
"It was nearly a year ago when I first met this wonderful woman... who I didn’t even imagined she will be dear to me. This was taken during our story conference/pictorial and now the time has come when we all have to end a beautiful show in two days! I'm a bit emotional only because this show gave all the cast a great opportunity," wrote Meldenz, who plays the show's villain Emilia Ardiente.
Melendez also hopes that this will be the start of a "beautiful friendship" with Salvador.
"I personally gained another family with these peeps! As we end our show, I'm not saying goodbye to you baby girl but only later. I believe this is just a start of a beautiful friendship we built during and after the show," she said.
Melendez also acknowledged that she wouldn't be as effective if not for Salvador.
"You are such a giving co-actor! I sincerely pray for more success in all your endeavours," she said, as she reminded Salvador that she will "always be proud of how you’ve become as an actress."
"And know too, I love you with all my heart! It has been a pleasure being your villain but an ate in real life," Melendez added.
Catch the last three episodes of "Wildflower" before "TV Patrol."
