MANILA – Dayanara Torres’ comeback to the Philippines was short but sweet.
On Tuesday, the Puerto Rican beauty had to end her two-week stay in the country to fly back to Los Angeles to be with her two sons.
Nonetheless, Torres promised to return to the country again for possible projects lined up for her.
“I am definitely coming back. I feel like 10 years was way too long. I didn’t even realize until I got here that it’s been 10 years. My boys are older, if they can come and travel with me, I can stay longer,” she said.
Asked if it’s true that she will do a movie with Piolo Pascual in the future, Torres said: “I would love to work with him. I met him on Sunday. He’s so super cute. He’s a very nice guy. I also heard about other names. As of now, nothing is set in stone. I’ll just leave that to be handled by Genesis and we’ll decide what to do.”
Meanwhile, Torres said her trip to the Philippines has been amazing because she got to reconnect with people she missed.
“I am so happy that the Miss Universe was held in the Philippines. I knew it was a sign. I was looking forward to this moment. I did the Miss Universe and then staying after and getting to reconnect with everyone that I missed, everyone that I haven’t seen in so many years and that ‘ASAP’ day was so amazing,” she said.
Calling the Philippines her second home, Torres said she hopes to come back soon so she can enjoy “this beautiful country that loves me so very much.”
