In an emotional new video blog, Wil Dasovich has revealed he is cancer-free.
The former "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate, who was diagnosed with the disease six months ago, was seen crying tears of joy with his family as he shared the news with his fans on Friday.
The popular vlogger also used his inspiring story to offer advice to those facing similar challenges - one of the main reasons he decided to go public with his illness - and discuss the importance of trying to surpass these obstacles.
“Life is full of ups and downs and part of living is finding a way to surpass as many obstacles thrown at your course," he wrote.
"But if you will find a path with no obstacles, it probably won’t lead you anywhere. We all have challenges ahead of us but it’s all about how you respond to these challenges that will define you."
"Don’t let these challenges bring you down. Let it be the thing that lifts you up," he added, before saying that it is "time to close this chapter" of his life.
Dasovich first revealed that he had cancer back in August. He did not share details of his disease but documented his treatment on his YouTube channel, which has a million followers.
He underwent chemotherapy for nine cycles, and had a surgery that took a week last month.
