MANILA – Four months after giving birth to her son Seve, Toni Gonzaga admitted that she and Paul Soriano were not planning on having a baby that soon.
Speaking on “Magandang Buhay” on Thursday, Gonzaga said she and Soriano wanted to enjoy their time as a couple first just like other newlyweds.
“It was really unplanned.
However, this didn’t happen when she found out in January that she was pregnant.
Hindi ko pa ma-gets noon,” she said.
Although unexpected, Gonzaga said she and Soriano realized that there are things they can’t control.
“You know what, ‘Many are plans in a man’s heart but it’s always God’s purpose that prevails.’ Na-realize namin it’s not in our hands, pero plano talaga ng Diyos na ibigay last year,” she said.
The TV host said it was her younger sister Alex who first knew that she was pregnant. She told her husband next before they announced the good news to their parents.
“Three days or four days, in shock kami pareho [ni Paul]. Nag-sink in lang sa amin nung nagpunta na kami sa doctor,” she said.
On the week that she was about to give birth, Gonzaga admitted that she was very fond of Daniel Padilla.
Aside from Padilla, Gonzaga said she also kept on watching Justin Bieber’s videos prior to giving birth.
