POSTERS: ‘AlEmpoy’ in Paris among 13 new Spring Films offerings

MANILA—To mark its 10th anniversary, Spring Films has unveiled its slate of big-screen offerings, including a project reuniting the breakout tandem of Alessandra de Rossi and Empoy Marquez.

Founded by director Joyce Bernal, actor Piolo Pascual, and businessman Erickson Raymundo, Spring Films has gone a long way since it released its maiden production, the blockbuster comedy flick “Kimmy Dora,” in 2009.

It has expanded its genres, and has tapped big-name stars to draw a wide audience to its independent filmmaking. Among its most successful releases, the 2017 romance film “Kita Kita,” launched the unlikely pairing of “AlEmpoy.”

Spring Films is looking to, in its words, bloom further in the coming years. Already, at least 13 films are in various stages of production. Here’s a look at each of their posters, as well as the projects descriptions, as listed on Spring Films’ Facebook page:
