Following the Metro Manila Film Festival success of his movie "Siargao," which won several awards, including 2nd Best Picture, director Paul Soriano announced that he wanted to produce a film starring his wife, Toni Gonzaga, and her sister Alex.
And it appears plans for it are going swimmingly after Soriano's production company, Ten17P, posted a photo of them with the celebrity sisters after a meeting to discuss the movie's concept.
It follows a teasing post from Alex herself that shows her and Toni outside the Ten17P office with the caption: "Dream project."
Details about the film remain scarce, but Soriano has said that he imagined it to be a family-centric one.
He also explained that he doesn't want to direct the movie, and that he's only producing and writing for it to avoid any possible "conflicts" with his wife, Toni. "Parang I feel if I'm the director baka 'yung personal ay pupunta sa set, hindi ba?" he reasoned.
Soriano's last outing was "Siargao," which was the third most successful film of the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival based on box-office performance. It was behind only "Gandarrapido: The Revenger Squad" and "Ang Panday."
