"Who the hell is that guy?" asks Natasha Romanoff, aka the Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), as she confronts the Taskmaster.
The latest "Black Widow" trailer, released last week, provides a few more glimpses of the newest villain of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), known for being able to instantly copy the moves of whoever he's facing. He's seen effortlessly deflecting Romanoff's bullets with his unique shield in the clip.
The "Black Widow" movie, set to open in April in the Philippines, will attempt to shed light on its titular hero's past, including her reunion with Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), who becomes the second Black Widow in the comics. There's also an appearance from Red Guardian (David Harbour), or the Soviet's equivalent of Captain America.
Billed as a spy thriller, it is directed by Cate Shortland and is the first film in Phase Four of the MCU.
The events in the film takes place before "Avengers: Endgame," in the time between "Captain America: Civil War" and "Infinity War."
