He can make flowers appear out of thin air. What Karl Luigi "Matrix" Villareal can't do, however, is win back the love of his life.

And his sadness over his failed relationship was front and center during his "Pilipinas Got Talent" audition, which he dedicated to the woman who broke his heart more than two years ago.

He performed his act with the aid of a huge TV. He made it appear that he was pulling things like bouquets from inside the screen.

He shared that it was only when his ex-girlfriend left him that he realized how important she was to his life. He explained that his skit was supposed to be his "proposal" to her, and he wanted to show her one last time just how much he loved her.

This touched the hearts of the judges, including Vice Ganda, who told him: "Sobrang effective kasi pumasok ka sa amin, hindi lang sa mata kung hindi sa kalooban namin."

Angel Locsin chimed in by praising the emotions he was able to convey, while both Robin Padilla and Freddie M. Garica described his act as "flawless."

By the end, they all gave him the nods he needed to move on to the next round.
