MANILA – Alex Gonzaga is looking at a very busy 2015 with several major projects in store for her.
One of these is her upcoming album which, Gonzaga said, will be released in music stores nationwide in February.
“So far ‘yung ginagawa namin is maraming makaka-relate sa lyrics. Gumawa ako ng lyrics dun sa album tapos meron din ginawa ang ate ko, nag-collaborate kami,” she said, referring to sister Toni Gonzaga.
The younger Gonzaga said she made sure that a lot of people will be able to relate to her songs.
“Tagos sa puso dapat para may kakantahin ka habang nagbabasa ng libro ko,” she said, referring to her bestselling book “Dear Alex, Break Na Kami… Paano?! Love, Catherine” released last year.
Aside from her album, Gonzaga shared she will also be headlining her first solo concert in March.
“Sa March 13 and 14, meron [akong concert]. Ang title is ‘All by Myself’ sa Music Museum. Meron na [akong nata-tap na guests] pero hindi pa sure. So far ako pa lang 'yung sure and 'yung venue. Sana pumunta 'yung mga tao kasi baka literal na mag ‘all by myself’ lang ako doon,” she said in jest.
Furthermore, Gonzaga is praying that her movie will also push through this year.
“Nakapag-meeting na kami pero so far wala pa talaga ‘yung story. Hindi ko pa talaga alam kung sino ang kasama. Nasabi lang sa akin ni direk Wenn (Deramas). Until hindi pa nagro-roll, hindi ko pa rin talaga masabi. But of course, we would want, we would claim and we would pray for it,” she said.
In addition to the mentioned projects, Gonzaga will also star in the TV remake of “Inday Bote.”
With all these blessings, Gonzaga said she really feels good about herself.
“From 2014 na nagkaroon ako ng quarter-life crisis, ngayon parang masayang masaya ako ngayon talaga sa lahat ng aspeto ng buhay,” she said.
