MANILA, Philippines – Talented young actor Baron Geisler on Wednesday denied that he touched actress Cherry Pie Picache’s breasts during the taping of the television series "Noah" over the weekend.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Geisler stressed that his ape-like character in the television series moves like a monkey.

According to the actor, he was just playing his character, and Picache might have mistakenly thought that he touched her breasts when he was just portraying a monkey’s role.

“Unggoy ang karakter ko so marami akong mga galaw bilang hayop na nang-hohostge ng tao. Bilang aktor, in character ako,” he said.

"Nanay ang turing ko kay Cherry Pie. Imposibleng gawin ko 'yun sa kanya. I'm very disappointed," Geisler added, insisting that people must first see the video of the controversial scene before judging him.

This was contrary to the initial report that Geisler was drunk when the alleged incident occurred.

Meanwhile, the case filed by actress Yasmin Kurdi against Geisler was arraigned on Wednesday.

The actor pleaded not guilty to the 2 counts of acts of lasciviousness and 2 counts of unjust vexation.

This brought Kurdi to tears, and she emphasized that she’s the one telling the truth.

“Ibig sabihin sinungaling ako at iba pang mga babae. Hindi ko nga alam kung magpapasalamat ako na tuloy na ang hearing ng kaso after 7 months...pagod na pagod na ako sa kasong ito. Ayoko nang umiyak," she said.

Geisler, on the other hand, claimed that he will never apologize for something he did not commit.

On May 21, 2009, Kurdi filed a harassment case against Geisler when the latter allegedly made "lewd gestures" and "indecent proposals" to her during the taping of the television series "Suspetsa" in Bocaue, Bulacan.

Meantime, the Professional Artist Management, Inc. (PAMI) is also set to start their closed-door investigation today regarding the complaint filed by Picache before them. – Report from Mario Dumaual, ABS-CBN News
