MANILA -- There's a case to be made that BTS's "Black Swan" --as performed by the MN Dance Company in a video put up Friday-- is perhaps the group's most artistically ambitious release so far.

Its chilling video that features the Slovenian dance troupe interpret its lyrics about an artist losing their love for their craft certainly pivots it as their most emotional.

But to the topic of its lyrics, translated to English --"I've been always afraid of if this can no longer resonate/No longer make my heart vibrate/Then like this may be how I die my first death"-- it turns out that two Filipinos are credited in co-writing it.

Filipino songwriters Vince Nantes and August Rigo are credited in BTS's new single, 'Black Swan.' Instagram

Vince Nantes and August Rigo, who is half-Canadian, can be seen alongside BTS's leader RM, Big Hit Entertainment's producer Pdogg, and North Carolina rapper Clyde Kelly in the credits.

Nantes, on his Instagram this Friday, expressed excitement over his contribution to the song, which has already hit more than 7 million views less than a day of its release.

Rigo, for his part, shared that his baby was born as he was working on the track with Nantes, so more than one congratulatory message are in order for the Pinoy songwriter.

"Black Swan" is BTS's first single from their new album, Map of the Soul: 7, scheduled for release this February. It follows the Korean superstars' release year Map of the Soul: Persona.
