She has no shortage of adoring fans, thanks to the numerous movies and shows she topbilled throughout her enduring showbiz career.
But it wasn't until Judy Ann Santos met her husband, Ryan Agoncillo, that she truly felt loved, she admitted on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on Wednesday.
"Hindi naman niya kailangan sabihin as akin araw-araw na he loves me, but he would always do," she said when asked about whether at one point she doubted Agoncillo's loyalty to her.
"He does it anyway and I love it . . . I think it's really important."
Santos, who has been married to Agoncillo for more than 8 years to date, also described her partner as "super honest" and that she trusts him completely.
Santos was on the late-night talk show to promote her new comedy flick, "Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes," about two women who found their husbands to be cheating on them.
She co-stars with Angelica Panganiban, their first movie together. It is directed by Jun Robles Lana of "Die Beautiful" fame and is currently showing in nearly 200 cinemas nationwide.
In the same interview, Santos also opened up about why she choose the comedy as her comeback film this year.
"Hindi puwedeng hindi ko ito tanggapin dahil ang tanga-tanga ko kung hindi ko ito gagawin kasi ipinagdasal ko ito," she shared.
She also confessed that she had her doubts over whether she could pull off the role after being away from acting for so long.
But she ultimately decided to push through because "baka wala nang projects na sumunod na ganito kaganda."
