MANILA, Philippines – The “Bourne Legacy” production crew was already busy setting up equipment before the crack of dawn at the corner of Bocobo Street and Remedios Circle on Wednesday.
This included a high scaffolding and a camera installed on a building's rooftop.
The ABS-CBN News team spotted lead actor Jeremy Renner, who was wearing a black jacket on top of the building.
The cast ran around the rooftop for a scene while the Filipino extras awaited their cue under a tent.
Onlookers were disgruntled after they were ordered to move away from the set.
They, however, still struggled to take a peek.
“Bakit naman ang damot gusto lang naman naming manood,” said an onlooker.
Bocobo Street and Remedios Circle were closed for the filming.
Authorities advised motorists to take alternative routes or better yet, to avoid the shooting location all together.
Filming at Remedios will last until Thursday and it will continue on January 28 to January 30.
On Saturday, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority will launch a traffic simulation at Pasay Taft Rotonda, which will be the film's next shooting location. – Report from Gretchen Malalad, ABS-CBN News
