'Luv U' finale trends on Twitter

MANILA – The final episode of “Luv U” became the most talked about topic on Twitter in the Philippines on Sunday.

After being on air for four years, the ABS-CBN teen comedy series aired its final episode on Sunday which was shot in Baguio.

The whole cast also performed the "Luv U" theme song before the show ended.

Using the hashtag “LuvUPaalam,” Filipino netizens took to social media to express what they feel about the show’s ending.

Meanwhile, Miles Ocampo expressed on Instagram how grateful she is to be part of the show.

Posting a photo with the rest of the show’s cast members, Ocampo wrote in the caption: “MAMI-MISS KO ang gumising ng umaga tuwing Monday, ang mag script reading, ang asaran, ang foodtrip, ang tawanan, ang friendship at ang nabuong pamilya.”

She then thanked everyone on the show for the “sad and happy memories.” Ocampo, likewise, thanked “Luv U” viewers for avidly following the show for four years.

“THANK YOU sa mga experiences, sa sad and happy memories, sa mga pagturo ng maraming lessons at sa pagbibigay saakin ng pagmamahal.. Sa lahat po ng sumuporta sa LUV U sa loob ng 4 NA TAON, maraming maraming salamat po sainyong lahat,” she said.

Aside from Ocampo, “Luv U” also includes Kiray Celis, Marco Gumabao, Sharlene San Pedro, Alexa Ilacad, Nash Aguas, Jairus Aquino, Mika Dela Cruz, Rhap Salazar, Smokey Manaloto, Hyubs Azarcon, Bentong, and Joy Viado, among others.
