MANILA – Do you still remember the teen drama series “Tabing Ilog”?
The show was dubbed as the Filipino version of the hit American series “Dawson’s Creek” and it ran for over four years from 1999 to 2003 on ABS-CBN.
The show was headlined by eight then-teen stars: John Lloyd Cruz, Kaye Abad, Jodi Sta. Maria, Baron Geisler, Paula Peralejo, Patrick Garcia, Desiree del Valle and Paolo Contis.
To give his fans something to reminisce about, Cruz on Friday took to Instagram to share a photo that would remind them of his “Tabing Ilog” role.
The photo, taken last year, was supposedly the same house where his character Rovic lived on the show.
As of writing, the picture has more than 15,000 “likes” from netizens.
Among the "Tabing Ilog" alumni, Cruz is arguably one of the most successful in show business.
Through the years, Cruz has been named Box Office King several times, with a number of blockbuster movies under his belt.
Currently, Cruz is on leave from showbiz, which he said he had to take to attend to personal matters.
His break from work meant that he had to forego for the meantime his starring role in the weekend sitcom, "Home Sweetie Home."
