MANILA -- Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago had an "embarrassing moment" when her mother, who is based in Canada, told TV host Luis Manzano through a phone interview that she wants him for her daughter.

Santiago, who won the title in December in Japan, was a contestant in Tuesday's episode of the ABS-CBN game show "Minute to Win It," which Manzano hosts.

After losing a "life" from failing a challenge, Santiago got encouragement from her mother, Ofelia, and brother, Paul, who were seen on broadcast via Skype.

Ending the phone conversation, Ofelia quipped, "Thank you very much, Lucky! Gustung-gusto kita [para] kay Bea!"

The comment drew laughs from the audience, with Santiago covering her face from "embarrassment." Manzano, in jest, asked the older Santiago to repeat what she said.

"I like you for my Bea!" she told Manzano. "I'm a fan of your mom (Vilma Santos) and your dad (Edu Manzano), so I said, 'Naku, si Lucky, kailangan makita iyan ni Bea.'"

Throughout the conversation, the beauty queen was heard saying "sorry" repeatedly. "Thank you for embarrassing me!" she exclaimed, laughing.

Santiago, at the end of her "Minute to Win It" stint on Tuesday, won a total of P75,000.
