The group chose to use a local song popular in their province for their performance so that they can stand out.
And they succeeded in doing so, after they received praise from judges Maja Salvador, Gary Valenciano and Billy Crawford.
On Sunday's episode of "World of Dance," Ground Zero from Koronadal City brought smiles to the judges faces with their fun performance.
"At para sabihin ko sa 'yo, masaya ako. Masaya ako sa nakita ko at nawala ang problema ko," Maja Salvador told the group.
"Yung music na pinili niyo, hindi malakas na malakas eh, pero 'yung galaw niyo, ang swabe, ang lakas," she added.
Gary Valenciano, for his part, said: "Yung ginawa niyo, pabago-bago, pero 'yung timing ninyo, eksakto palagi doon sa tiyempo."
"Yung buong performance niyo, from the start hanggang sa dulo, nakangiti ako. Pampa-good vibes 'yung dala ninyo," Billy Crawford also said.
The group got an average score of 88 points.
Contestants will only need at least a score of 80 to move to the second round. They will be judged based on performance, technique, choreography, creativity, and presentation. The maximum score is 100.
"World of Dance Philippines" airs Saturdays after "Home Sweetie Home" and Sundays after "Wansapanataym."
