MANILA - Jodi Sta. Maria is convincingly "siga" and "sosyal" as two characters with the same face in the just-released full trailer for her teleserye comeback, "Sana Dalawa Ang Puso".
In the three-minute preview that aired Monday during ABS-CBN's primetime block, Sta. Maria is seen both as Mona, a barrio "sabungera" with big dreams, and Lisa, a makeup tycoon whose way out of her company's debt is to agree to a lucrative wedding arrangement.
Co-starring with Sta. Maria in the Star Creatives production are Richard Yap and Robin Padilla, both as love interests of the identical protagonists.
It is unclear from the trailer how Mona and Lisa are related, but the narration mentions the "statistics" of one person having seven near-identicals in the world.
Also part of the cast, as seen in the trailer, are Alma Moreno and Edgar Mortiz as Mona's parents, and Christopher de Leon, as Lisa's father.
An airing date has yet to be announced for "Sana Dalawa Ang Puso".
