MANILA — “ASAP Natin ‘To” remained unbeatable in ratings on Sunday even as a new rival aired, according to nationwide data from Kantar Media.
Bolstered by “Tala Nation,” or the coming together of viral performers of the dance craze, the January 5 episode of “ASAP Natin ‘To” registered a national TV rating of 11.7%.
Its latest competing program, “All Out Sundays,” only drew a viewership of 9.7%.
“ASAP Natin ‘To” also dominated Twitter trends last Sunday, with hashtags or terms related to its performers, including “Tala” superstar Sarah Geronimo, ranking in the list.
Trending topics included SB19, LizQuen (Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil), Darren Espanto, Morissette, KZ Tandingan and TJ Monterde, Regine Velasquez, Sharlene San Pedro, Jona, December Avenue, Catriona Gray, and Sharon Cuneta.
Packed with performances from A-list stars and emerging talents, the first 2020 episode of “ASAP Natin ‘To” also marked the kickoff of its 25th year on air.
