Roselle Nava proved how good she is at picking out legitimate vocal talents in Saturday's episode of "I Can See Your Voice."
With the help of the "Singvestigators," Nava was able to correctly weed out the singers from the non-singers.
In the end, Nava chose as her singing partner Roniel Mendoza, who surprised everyone with his amazing voice.
It turns out that Mendoza was once a co-host of Sunday musical-variety show "Sa Linggo nAPO Sila" back in the 1990s. He also released a self-titled album around the same time.
According to Mendoza, he joined the contest so he can sing again on stage.
Aside from taking home P25,000, Mendoza got a chance to compete for a spot in the semifinals of "Tawag ng Tanghalan" on "It's Showtime."
Based on a Korean show of the same title, "I Can See Your Voice" airs Saturdays after "Maalaala Mo Kaya" and Sundays after "Rated K."
