There are only eight days left before Moira dela Torre ties the knot with her fiancé, Jason Marvin.
And just before the big day, the two gamely shared their last-minute preparations when they both appeared on “ASAP Natin ‘To” on Sunday.
According to dela Torre, who first sang “Sundo” and “Tagpuan” with Regine Velasquez and Sarah Geronimo before talking about her wedding, they will keep themselves busy in the coming days with several family events.
“Mostly family events na lang po before the wedding and how to get everyone there, 'yung transportation, 'yung food sa rehearsal dinner and the hotel,” she said.
The two are tying the knot in Tagaytay on January 14.
The singer also said she can’t wait for her relatives to arrive from the United States so she could all be with them on her wedding day.
Meanwhile, Marvin said he could no longer contain his growing anticipation.
“Sobrang excited ko na po. Sobrang tagal po naming hinintay ito,” he said.
Asked for a message for dela Torre, Marvin melted hearts when he made a promise to he future wife.
“I promise to always put you first over everything, over my pride, over everyone else. I promise to always take care of you, to always be there for you, to hold our hand when you’re feeling weak. I will be your 95% when you are 5%. I can’t wait to call you my home. Hindi ko na po siya ihahatid kasi sayo na ako uuwi,” he said.
Dela Torre, on the other hand, kept her message short but sweet. “Thank you. I love you and I can’t wait to kiss you,” she said drawing cheers from Velasquez and Geronimo.
Dela Torre first announced her engagement in April, when she released her "Malaya" music video. The deeply personal clip, directed by John Prats, recounted her painful childhood memories before ending with her boyfriend asking for her hand in marriage.
