She's been dubbed as the country's "hugot queen."
And it's safe to say that Angelica Panganiban fits that title as she reveals why she hates looking at a calendar.
"Ayaw kong tinitingan ito," the "Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes" star acknowledged as she guested on Jhai Ho's "Hotspot" online talk show.
There, she was asked to think of "hugot lines" based on everyday objects such as a calendar, a pin, and a flashlight. Referring to the first one, she explained in jest that she despises the date February 14 particularly, describing it as the "day of the dead."
Without naming anyone, Panganiban went on to open up about a heartbreak she experienced early last year.
"Okay naman kami tapos nakita ko, 'Bakit iba na iyong ka-date niya?' Pero tinanggap ko pa rin," she shared, before adding that she used to love the man she was talking about. "Ngayon, sinusumpa na."
It can be remembered that it was around February 2017 when talk of Panganiban getting back together with her ex, John Lloyd Cruz, began after they were spotted at an art fair together.
Panganiban once said that she considers the months after their breakup with the Kapamilya actor her "lowest point."
Panganiban has since moved on, saying that she's currently enjoying her single life. Cruz, on the other hand, has started dating his "Home Sweetie Home" co-star Ellen Adarna.
Asked about how she managed to pick herself back up by Jhai Ho, Panganiban said: "Lagi mong tatandaan, kung hindi ka naman nanakit at nanloko ng tao, wala kang dapat ikatakot."
"Kasi ang babalik naman sa iyo talaga ay kabutihan at kagandahan."
Panganiban is one of the stars of "Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes," Star Cinema's newest comedy offering.
It is also topbilled by Judy Ann Santos, and is directed by "Die Beautiful" director Jun Robles Lana. It will premiere on January 17.
