MANILA -- Many people who want to earn additional income think they cannot do so without having to sell products.
A financial expert, however, said there are other ways to earn additional income, even for those who do not want to venture into business.
In an interview on radio dzMM, Marvin Germo, a financial coach and motivational speaker, said it is always better for people to "live below their means", and save or invest their extra money.
Aside from saving and investing, Germo also said it is better to look for additional sources of income.
The Internet is a place to look for additional income, as there are a lot of jobs available online.
He also said one advantage of working online is flexible time.
"Ang maganda dun, dahil hawak mo ang oras mo, you can work on as many projects as you can as long as you meet the deadline," he added.
