MANILA -- Grab said Thursday customers could start redeeming millions of pesos in refunds starting Dec. 31, as directed by the country's antitrust watchdog.
Grab riders need to complete a KYC or know your customer process to avail of the refund, which will be credited to the user's GrabPay digital wallet. More details are available in the Grab app and on its website, the company said.
The total P5 million penalty will be distributed proportionately to those who took Grab rides in Metro Manila from Feb. 10 to May 10. The P14 million penalty will be distributed to those rode Grab from May 11 to Aug. 10, Grab said.
