TOKYO - McDonald's Co. (Japan) said Friday it will stop limiting the size of its French fries thanks to an inventory recovery, and fries will be available in all sizes on Jan. 5.

The company has been selling only small-size French fries throughout Japan since Dec. 17 due to a delay in imports amid a port workers' strike on the U.S. West Coast.

But after taking emergency measures, including the shifting of transportation to airfreight, inventory conditions have improved enough to resume normal sales of fries, McDonald's said.
