Oil firms announce price rollback

MANILA (UPDATE) – Eight oil companies have announced a rollback in the prices of petroleum products effective December 14, Sunday.

Caltex, Shell, Petron and Seaoil said gas prices will go down by P1.75 per liter while diesel prices by P1.55 per liter, and kerosene by P1.80 per liter.

The firms all stated that they will implement the adjustment on fuel pump prices effective 12:01 a.m. Sunday.

Flying V will also implement a P1.75 per liter rollback on gasoline, P1.80 per liter on kerosene and P1.55 per liter on biodiesel.

Eastern Petroleum's will also decrease diesel prices by P1.60 per liter and gasoline prices by P1.90 per liter effective 12.01 a.m.

Phoenix Petroleum Philippines will also decrease the prices of diesel by P1.55 per liter and gasoline by P1.75 per liter effective 6 a.m. tomorrow.

Unioil will also rollback its pump prices effective 6 a.m. tomorrow. Diesel prices will go down by P1.50 per liter and gasoline prices by P1.80 per liter.
