MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Transportation and Communications deferred anew the submission of prequalification documents for the P2.5 billion integrated transport system (ITS) - Southwest terminal project in Paranaque City.
The deadline, which was today (December 12), has been moved to December 22.
"As requested by the bidders, the deadline for bid submission is hereby moved from December 12 to December 22," the DOTC said.
This is the second time the deadline was moved.
So far, there are 14 interested groups, including San Miguel, Ayala Land, Metro Pacific, Robinsons Land and Megawide.
The Southwest terminal project will connect passengers coming from Cavite to other urban transport systems.
As for the P4-billion South Terminal at FTI complex in Taguig, four bidders were prequalified last Wednesday, including Ayala Land and Filinvest Land.
The South Terminal will connect passengers from Laguna and Batangas to other transport systems.
